I'm trying to update TKLamp to get the php-snmp modules, among other things. This is a VM running in Workstation 10, with a bridge network and http/ftp/http_proxy set to my local proxy. This is from the CLI. I've also setup webmin with the proxies. Smae problem
doing an apt-get update, I get the following message:
E: GPG error: http://security.debian.org wheezy/updates Release: The following signatures were invalid: NODATA 1 NODATA 2
My /etc/apt/sources.list.d/security.sources.list looks like:
----
deb http://archive.turnkeylinux.org/debian wheezy-security main
deb http://security.debian.org/ wheezy/updates main
deb http://security.debian.org/ wheezy/updates contrib
# deb http://security.debian.org/ wheezy/updates non-free
---
Ideas? I've done a fair amount of google searches and tests, and can't seem to find the answer to fix this.
Thanks
Ben
It looks like my corporate
It looks like my corporate proxy is getting in the way.
In /var/lib/apt/lists/partials/archive.turnkeylinux.org_debian_dists_wheezy_Release, I see the auto proxy information, not the actual Release file. Anyone know why this is happening?
First time I've come across that myself
First time I've ever come across something like this. Proxies can be weird like that. Do you know what software is powering it?
For what it's worth the package repository is just a collection of plain old static files hosted by Lighty. There shouldn't be anything preventing your proxy from getting them.
Proxy
No clue about the proxy, but the files that get downloaded are clearly part of the auto proxy config. I went home and connected to my LAN and did the update from there once I rebooted the VM and was able to do the update/upgrade.
Looks like I'm going to have to recompile php or figure out a way to get php-snmpd installed, because it's not in the repos... :-(
