I've already written the announcement, but we still have a few more changes to make to the website before we are ready for the "official" release, which I'm hoping will be early next week.

Instead of doing all of the work offline and then updating it in one go, we've been doing this incrementally online. Unfortunately, a few bugs have turned up. For example our site's caching mechanism isn't working with our new appliance tags so we've had to temporarily turn it off while we investigate. All of that needs to be resolved so users get a good clean experience and we can handle the traffic if the site hits any of the big sites (e.g., digg).
