I am new to TURNKEY and that is my first question, so please be gentle.
I have tried the demo link: https://hub.turnkeylinux.org/start/
so having a general idea of what is it.
Question: What are the requirements of TURNKEY like the following?
a) Amazon EC2 account
b) that is?
Forum:
Hi there! :)
To get started on the Hub you just need to sign up to an Amazon account. There is then an API key in your AWS account that you will need to enter into your Hub account then you're all good to go. The Hub should pretty much step you through it from memory (it was a long time ago since I signed up so my memory is a little rusty...)
Also 1 thing -- login problem
Hello Jeremy,
Thank you for replying, I have sign up an Amazon account
Then I link/bound the key from Amazon to the hub.turnkeylinux.org which is ANOTHER login account.
So TWO accounts: 1 for Amazon and 1 for hub.turnkey.
But I just carelessly fill in a wrong email address into the turnkey account. What should I do? Can I get a new turnkey account then link the SAME Amazon key?
Thank you for help in advance.
Sorry, I misunderstood your question
Yes you are right you need to have 2 accounts... One with Amazon and one with TurnKey Hub.
With regards to the 'wrong email' - Do you have access to it at all? If so then you should be able to change the email address within the account.
Or is it completely wrong? I thought that you needed to confirm the email address via a confirmation code that was sent to the email address you registered (but I might be wrong... It was a long time since I signed up... :)
In the meantime if you are keen to get going, you could try setting up a new account with the same key, although I'm not sure if it will work...

I just fill in a email that I have NO access, so completely wrong I mean.
Next, I can sign up another new TurnKey Hub account with the OLD access key, but....
in step 2: Enable TurnKey Linux on Amazon EC2 I need to enable plan / pay again.
Hope above is clear.
Please email me
Email me (jeremy turnkeylinux org) and give me the email address that you incorrectly used (or at least the closest you can remember it) and I will look into it
In the meantime if you go to the Amazon DevPay site: http://www.amazon.com/dp-activate (you'll need to log in with your Amazon account details) and see if there are any applications listed there (specifically any TurnKey ones). If there are, cancel them all. Then start again by linking your Amazon account to the working Hub account (which you do have the email for). That should guarantee that you only pay once. Once you have it all set up and running, go back there (DevPay) and double check what is enabled. That is what you will be charged for...
Please reply to the email I sent
I sent you an email a few hours ago. Please respond to that so I can try to sort this out for you. Thanks.
