Interesting issue. I have been using TKLX on Virtualbox for years with no issues. I wanted to finally get my hands dirty with TKLDEV. TKLDEV installed fine (bridged network), it can be pinged from the Win7 host, it can be accessed via putty and WINSCP but it is inaccessible from the browser!

I thought this might be related to the windows firewall but disabling it had no effect.

I thought this might be an issue with the latest Virtualbox so I downloaded and installed the latest TKLX Wordpress appliance to test and it worked fine (ports 80, 12320, 12321, 12322).

So I ran netstat -nat on both VMs and found that the TKLX Wordpress appliance had listeners for ports 22, 443, 3306, 25, 80, 12320-12322 but TKLDEV only had listeners for 22 and 8124.

Any reason why TKLDEV does not have ports 12320-12322 listeners enabled?

Where do I look to enable these ports?

Great point... It's another of those things that if you know then it makes sense, but you'd probably never think if it yourself. It was only because it randomly came up in discussion one time with Liraz (I hadn't even noticed).

I also think I should probably check up on the proper procedure for re-enabling them too. Only thing is I wonder where might be the best spot to put that info?

Now that the issue has been raised and answered here in the forum anyone who has the problem in the future knows what to do.

What threw me off was the reference on the TKLDEV appliance page that TKLDEV includes all features of TKLCore

You might want to add the explanation paragraph you wrote in the previous post on the TKLDEV appliance page right below that statement.
