Ok, so if I were to summarise in short form, and correct me if I am wrong:
1) TKLDev is for static Application-centric VM / Appliance builds
2) Docker / LXC is for static Application component builds
3) Vagrant is for dynamic VM build and deploy
4) Puppet / Chef / Ansible / Salt / CFEngine are for dynamic O/S & application configuration & deployment
Interesting overlap!
