I only recommend VirtualBox as it is free open source software. Then I suggest that you have a look at the tutorial in the docs: http://www.turnkeylinux.org/docs/installation-appliances-virtualbox It's quite dated but should still be relevant (and close enough to get you going. To minimise the potential for issues I would recommend that you use the 32 bit (i386) appliance build. You'll find it on the TurnKey Linux SourceForge site.
