Yeah, that was my conclusion also. So far, we have only used Gitlab itself for administrivia like creating users and repos, as well as browsing repos and commits.
So we simply migrated all git repos to the new server, and since we are using the same email addresses and keys for users, all important history is preserved.
So with our 30 repos it was a bit of work to get everyting moved, but nothing that couldnt be handled.
