I can see posts here on the forum saying that people have created appliances such as
Appliance created : GroupOffice
Appliance created : vTiger
Appliance created : OrangeHRM
And quite a few others.
But where are they? They certainly aren't on your website to download...

They are community contributed patches to create prototypes
If you have a read through the blogs (and forums) you will see that there has been a development competition and these are some of the entries. The core devs are currently going through them and many of them will make it into part 2 of the current release cycle. If you are keen you can try them out using TKLPatch to patch the ISO. Or just be patient and wait until they are officially released.
