I just downloaded the new LAPP 12. I want to upgrade the PostgreSQL database from 8.4 to 9.1 so I can use the upped array_agg(col Order by col) function. I was really hoping the new version came with 9.0 or higher, but apparently it wasn't meant to be so. :(
Anyway, I installed it as a KVM to Proxmox 1.9. The problem is, when I open it in the console and attempt to install, I immediately get the following error:
EDD: Error 0c00 reading sector 78380
Invalid or corrupt kernel image
It then asks where the kernel is, but I haven't the faintest clue.
I'm really excited to use the new Debian appliances. Please advise.

Did you check the image integrity?
My first guess is a corrupt download. Especially after your other issues downloading (as you mentioned re OVZ template). Have a look here.
