Hi all,

Please help me... I have an easy question for you  :) 

1) I need to parameter my OpenLDAP server to use MD5 encryption.

How can i do ?

 

2) I must insert MD encrypted passwords in my server from an externe database.

How can i do?   i must prefix the encrypted string with "{MD5}" ?

TBH I have no idea... I suggest that you contact the upstream software (i.e. OpenLDAP) community for help. There are some FAQs here and/or sign up to the technical mailing list here and ask them. Otherwise having a goolge might give you some hints of other good places to find answers...

If/when you do find answers it'd be great if you post back as perhaps it will help others in the future...
